One $200 Winner and three $50 Finalists will be selected in an anonymous review by After Hours editors with the final winning decisions made entirely at the discretion of our 2023 judge Timothy

NUMERICA PRESS AUDIO POETRY PERFORMANCE CONTEST RULES:   Numerica Press is open for poetry submissions until May 2, 2023 for its first audio poetry reading contest. The winner will have a thirty minute solo poetry reading produced by award-winning performance artist, DRRTY BĒ. Every poet who sends work, regardless of whether their poetry is selected for the virtual performance, will also have the (optional) opportunity to receive a complimentary tarot card reading from our press's resident divination expert just for submitting! Our debut contest is open to all poets who enjoy giving public readings, and does not have to be limited to spoken-word artists. This is a great opportunity for poets with first books, new books, or poets who cannot travel very far for readings to showcase their work, particularly teaching artists who aren't able to do much during the school year. Call for Entries Entries are now being accepted for the  2023 Maria W. Faust Sonnet Contest . The entry process is a one-step system. Sonnet(s) must be submitted with the Entry Form. Complete instructions for entering are available on our   website . The Maria W. Faust Sonnet Contest is an annual event that welcomes entries from around the world. Cash prizes, totaling over $3,000, will be awarded in several categories, including: Top Four Sonnets Regional (Four Winners - Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa) Best Youth (Four Winners - High School and Younger) Laureate's Choice (Sixteen Winners) There is a $5 Entry Fee for up to three sonnets per entry.
