  WRITING CONTESTS OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS ATTENTION WRITERS: The TWF & SAS Writing Contests are OPEN! This year we have SIX categories accepting new work. Deadlines aren't until October, but don't delay! The summer is a great time to get some sun, sip on a mint julep, and catch up on your writing submissions. The TWF One-Act Contest is open to emerging or previously unpublished playwrights.  Plays should run no more than one hour in length .   Plays that have won and/or placed in any other playwriting contest are ineligible.
