CRWROPPS Post: RipRap43 Call for Submissions

Greetings! RipRap Literary Journal Volume 43 would like to offer our humble invitation to talented writers and artists of all genres for our CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS! We are currently accepting submissions for Artwork, Poetry, Short Fiction, Flash Fiction, Creative Nonfiction, and Plays. There is no fee to submit.  We will be accepting submissions until December 18 ,2020.  RipRap is a literary journal designed and produced annually by students in the Master of Fine Arts, Creative Writing program at California State University Long Beach (CSULB). RipRap highlights new and emerging writers from across the country as well as enlightening interviews of award-winning, published writers who are featured in the CSULB English Department's Visiting Writers Series or from the known writing community. CRWROPPS Post: Limp Wrist Dolly Tribute

Dolly Rebecca Parton turns 75 on January 19, 2021.     Limp Wrist  will celebrate Dolly's birthday with a tribute issue.   Limp Wrist  seeks submissions of poems that are dedicated to Dolly or inspired by Dolly, whether it be her music, movies, or philanthropic endeavors.   Limp Wrist  editor  Dustin Brookshire  will co-edit this special issue with poet  Julie E. Bloemeke .  The co-editors want your Dolly best, poems that have a clear link to the legend and basically the only angel to walk this planet-- that is Dolly Parton.  Submissions for the Dolly tribute issue will be accepted via email through 12/15/20.  Please follow the guidelines listed on the  Join the Agenda page . CRWROPPS Post: Harbor Editions

Harbor Editions is accepting submissions for the Laureate Prize.  This year our competition will be judged by Missouri Poet Laureate Karen Craigo!  Submissions should be between 50 and 80 pages.  We encourage submissions from traditionally marginalized writers.  The submission fee is $25.  The winner will receive $300 and 35 copies of their book.  For more information visit our website at  https://www.smallharborpublishing.com/laureate-prize .

CRWROPPS Post: Keystone Poetry Anthology

Keystone Poetry Anthology In anticipation of the 20th anniversary of the anthology Common Wealth: Contemporary Poets on Pennsylvania (PSU Press 2005), co-editors Marjorie Maddox and Jerry Wemple request submissions of 1-3 poems from poets currently living in or deeply connected to the state of Pennsylvania. Organized geographically and tentatively entitled Keystone Poets: Reflections on the Commonwealth, this collection of new poems will explore the hometowns, history, traditions, and culture of the Commonwealth. We expect some poems may highlight significant Pennsylvania events of the last twenty years. All poems should contain a strong sense of place. Submissions of poems of any length are allowed, with a preference for shorter works. Previously published poems are acceptable. However, authors must own all rights to any submitted work. Subject: DEADLINE EXTENDED for the 2020 Missouri Review Editors' Prize   Dear Allison Joseph,   I hope this letter finds you and your communities doing well as we begin October.   I wanted to let you know that last night we announced the extension of the Missouri Review's 30 th annual Jeffrey E. Smith Editors' Prize, which awards $5000 to one winner each in poetry, fiction and nonfiction. I wanted to make sure that your writers saw the announcement of the new deadline of October 15 , and have attached an updated flyer here.
