CRWROPPS Post: Slippery Elm 2022 is open for submissions!

Slippery Elm 's 2022 print issue is open for submissions, and we're looking for your work!  Prizes of $1000 will be awarded for poetry and prose, and all entries will be considered for publication.  Benjamin Busch will judge in poetry, and M. O. Walsh will judge in prose. Submit up to three poems or 5,000 words of prose via Submittable by February 1.  General (non-contest) entries are always free, but it's only $15 to enter the contest, and all entrants receive a copy of our 2022 issue.  Visit our website for past issues and online-exclusive content, and see our Submittable page for complete submission guidelines.  Check us out in Facebook and follow us on Twitter @SlipperyElmLJ for author bios and other updates. The 2022 Kim Bridgford Memorial Sonnet Contest Open to Submissions December 1st 2021 to January 15th 2022 There are two categories: Single Sonnet and Sonnet Crown. The writers of the winning poem(s) in each category each will be awarded a prize of $500 and invited to read the pieces at the May 2022 Poetry by the Sea Conference.
