Subject: CRWROPPS — New Ohio Review 2020 Contest (cash prize) New Ohio Review is now accepting fiction, nonfiction, and poetry for its 2020 contest. The submission deadline is April 15.   Prize includes $1,500 and publication in issue 28. Pieces not selected will still be considered for publication. CRWROPPS Post: Autumn House Rising Writer Contest

Subject: Last Call: Autumn House Rising Writer Contest The Rising Writer Contest is for a first full-length book of poetry by an author 33 years old or younger. Autumn House believes in supporting the work of younger, less-established writers who will become the voices of an emerging generation. For the 2020 contest, the Autumn House staff serves as the preliminary readers, and the final judge is Yona Harvey. The winner receives publication of a full-length manuscript and $1,000. The submission period closes January 31, 2020 (Eastern Time). Guidelines:  Must be the author's first full-length poetry collection (previous publications of chapbooks are fine). CRWROPPS Post: Editor's Prize

The Editor's Prize at Harbor Review will close at midnight on January 31st.   The prize is awarded once a year for a micro chapbook. Micro chapbooks should be exactly 10 poems long. Manuscripts should include a title page, table of contents, and use 12 point font. Individual poems from the manuscript may have been published previously in magazines but not books or chapbooks. The collection as a whole must be unpublished. The submission fee is $10 to cover submission management. Your submission fee must be paid via paypal prior to submission.
