CRWROPPS: Emerging Writer Fellowships

Miami Book Fair's Emerging Writer Fellowships (EWF) program offers a life-changing experience to   fresh and exciting literary voices . Through the generous sponsorship of the Jorge M. PĂ©rez Family Foundation at the Miami Foundation, on March 1 we launched a search for the program's next cohort: four writers who will enjoy critical mentorship from a nationally established author in their respective genre –   fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and new this round, Spanish-language   – as well as a host of other strategic supports.   These fellowships support previously unpublished writers who demonstrate exceptional talent and promise by providing them with time, space, and an intellectually and culturally rich artistic community. The program's goal is to actively support these writers – who are working to complete their first book-length project within a year – and help them launch their literary careers. Subject: The 2022 Emerging Writer's Contest is open for submissions!   Ploughshares is pleased to announce that the 2022 Emerging Writer's Contest is now open for submissions ! Awarded annually, the Emerging Writer's Contest recognizes fiction, poetry, and nonfiction by writers who have yet to publish a book of their work. One winner in each genre will receive $2,000, a conversation with Aevitas Creative Management , and publication in Ploughshares . This year's Emerging Writer's Contest judges are Chen Chen (Poetry), Danielle Geller (Nonfiction), and Amelia Gray (Fiction). The deadline for submissions to the Emerging Writer's Contest is May 15, 2022 .   Hello lovely writers! Our shortest-form contest is open for submissions until April 15th ! The Grouse Grind Lit Prize for V. Short Forms is judged by PRISM's editorial board. We're ready to dig into your flash fiction, micro-memoir, poetic hybrids and everything in between of  300 words  or less. Anything goes—as long as it's short!
