CRWROPPS Post: Philadelphia Stories

Hello, I am writing again on behalf of Philadelphia Stories magazine to remind you that the deadline is growing closer for our annual Marguerite McGlinn Prize for Fiction contest , open to all US writers (a connection with Philadelphia is not a requirement). We do hope that you can share the details of this contest with your students. The deadline is June 15 th , 2022. Prizes include:  First place: $2,500 cash award and an awards dinner in Philadelphia. Second place : $750 cash prize. Third place: $500 cash prize. All winning stories will be published in the Fall issue of Philadelphia Stories. Contest Guidelines: Deadline: June 15, 2022 Previously unpublished works of fiction, up to 8,000 words. Please note, "published" includes any work published in print or online, including online magazines, blogs, public social media sites, etc. Multiple submissions are acceptable.

CRWROPPS Post: The Poet's Billow

  The Poet's Billow is accepting submissions for two prizes: the Bermuda Triangle Award and Pangaea Prize .   The winners and finalists of previous awards range from those publishing for the first time to those with multiple books and who contribute to McSweeney's and the New Yorker. In the past we have hosted readings at AWP to which we invite all our contributors. We also nominate for the Pushcart Prize, the Best New Poets anthology, and have had contributors as finalists for Best of the Net.   The Bermuda Triangle Prize awards three poems, by up to three different authors, $50 per poem based on the year's theme. The poems will be published and displayed in the Poet's Billow Literary Art Gallery . Finalists will be considered for publication.
