CRWROPPS Post: Belmont Story Review Call for Submissions

Please consider forwarding the following Call for Submissions to your faculty, creative writing students, and alumni lists:

Belmont Story Review invites submissions for its 5th volume. We're looking for submissions of fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction from emerging and established writers. Also, we're open to submissions of narrative journalism in the areas of music, publishing, creativity and collaboration, as well as faith and culture.

—The reading period for volume 5 is from November 1, 2019 - February 1, 2020

—We award a cash honorarium of $50 for prose and $25 for poetry/flash fiction to authors who have accepted submissions

Located in Nashville, Tennessee, Belmont University is renowned for its College of Entertainment and Music Business and Social Entrepreneurship programs. It is also the only university with an undergraduate major in Publishing. Belmont Story Review was founded through the Publishing Program under the auspices of assistant professor Richard Sowienski, a 30-year publishing veteran, which included a five-year stint as managing editor of The Missouri Review.
