CRWROPPS Post: Robert J. DeMott Short Prose Contest now open through 11/30!
Dear Writers,
Quarter After Eight has opened its annual Robert J. DeMott Short Prose Contest for submissions!
This year's judge will be the fantastic Thisbe Nissen, author of Osprey Island, The Good People of New York, and Out of the Girls' Room and Into the Night, among other works.
The winner will receive $1008.15 and publication in our next issue!
For the entry fee of $15, you are able to submit up to three pieces of short prose—fiction, nonfiction, and prose poetry—and will receive digital access to QAE Volume 26. All submissions must be 500 words or less and the contest will remain open through November 30th. Send us your best, your boldest, your most peculiar!
