MVICW IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE: Provides educators with funding to attend The MVICW 2020 Summer Writers' Conference Three Full Tuition/Lodging Awards ($1700) Two Partial Awards ($500 Toward Tuition) Deadline: January 10, 2020 | | MVICW 2020 Summer Writers' Conference June 7-13 | June 14-20 Founded in 2019 by Carol Brown Goldberg and Henry Goldberg, these fellowships support the work of individuals who nurture and promote the creative voices of young people. Applications for these fellowships are open to anyone who works with youth, age 21 or younger, through public, private, OR community programs, including after-school educators, university professors, public and charter school teachers, coaches, therapists, and social workers. Three First Prize recipients (poetry, fiction/CNF, and one in either genre) will receive the full retreat package, (covering tuition and lodging) to attend a week of choice at the MVICW Summer Writers' Conference on the island of Martha's Vineyard, MA. Two runners-up (poetry and fiction/CNF) will receive $500 toward the cost of tuition. Now open for applications!
