We have two upcoming deadlines that you should know about.

  • We're looking for prose, poetry and black-and-white artwork for our next themed issue: SPRAWL. Vast sexy prairies, Arcade Fire realness, you name it. Read the full call here and submit by December 15.


  • The Jacob Zilber Prize for Short Fiction is now open for submissions. Submissions are due January 15, 2020. The iconic Kristen Arnett is this year's judge. Enter today for a shot at sweet cash prizes: $1,500 for the grand prize, $600 for the runner-up, and $400 for the second runner-up, baby!

SUBJECT LINE: $500 Prize for 2024 Poetry by the Sea Book Award The 2024 Poetry by the Sea Book Award  for outstanding poetry collection of 2023 is now open for submissions.
