CRWROPPS POST: Just 3 weeks left to enter €10,000 Moth Poetry Prize, & other news ...

There are just 3 weeks left to enter The Moth Poetry Prize 2019. Here's what you need to know: 
 
  • Anyone over 16 can enter
  • The poem can be on any subject, but must be unpublished
  • There is no line limit
  • The entry fee is €15 per poem
  • You can enter as many poems as you like
  • The judge is Claudia Rankine 
  • The poems are judged anonymously
  • The closing date is 31 December 2019
  • The shortlist (of 4) will be announced in March 2020
  • The shortlist will be published in the spring issue of The Moth
  • The spring issue just happens to be our 40th issue in our 10th year, so extra special! 
  • There are four prizes in total - one overall prize of €10,000 and €1,000 for each of the other shortlisted poets
  • There will be a special prizegiving ceremony at Poetry Ireland on 30 April (Poetry Day Ireland) in Dublin
