The Sally Albiso Poetry Book Award

$2,000 and Publication

Eligibility
Poets who make their home in Alaska, Oregon, or Washington (regardless of previous publication history) are eligible. MoonPath Press (an imprint of Concrete Wolf) publishes the finest poets residing in the U. S. Pacific Northwest.

Deadline:May 15, 2020

Manuscript
60 to 80 pages of poems (not including front or back matter) formatted as a doc, docx, or rtf file.

Entry fee: $20

All entries must be submitted online via Submittable.

Winner will be announced in June and published in the fall.

All entrants will receive the winning collection, as well as a copy of Moonless Grief by Sally Albiso.

Contest Judge
The winning entry for 2020 will be chosen by Carmen Germain.

About Sally Albiso
This award honors the exquisite poetry of MoonPath Press author Sally Albiso, who passed away in 2019. The award is endowed by her husband John Albiso.

The Creative Writing Program in the Department of English invites applications for the Edelstein-Keller Writer in Residence Fellowship! This fellowship is a nine-month academic year position 2023-2025, starting August 28, 2023. Deadline for applications is Monday, April 3, 2023. The fellow will be in residence on the Minneapolis campus for four semesters over two years, teaching two creative writing courses (graduate and undergraduate) each academic year. The fellow will participate in creative writing events and committees, including admissions and graduate thesis committees, and will give a public reading of their work. Subject:  [Open for Applications] 2024 Mountain Words Writer-in-Residence   I am excited to announce that the Mountain Words Writer-in-Residence program , is open for applications, with residency dates running May 1 - June 1, 2024 . It's pretty incredible: one-month holiday accommodation in Crested Butte, Colorado , and a $1,000 stipend.
