Dear Educators,

We'd like to share some information about Steel Toe Books' Chapbook
Contest as well as our Poetry and Prose Prizes. Feel free to share this
email with your colleagues and students. Please see our website for our
catalogue and additional information about the press:

Our Chapbook contest is open now through September. Submissions should
be between 20-50 pages. Winners will receive ten copies, $50, and a $200
promotional campaign. We are looking for strong literary works in a
variety of genres, and our chapbooks will be looking to feature
first-time authors as well as established authors.

Our Poetry and Prose Prizes are also open through September. For these
prizes, we are looking for diverse, daring, and polished works. This
will be Steel Toe Books' first year of publishing prose, and we're
looking forward to reading your best work! For detailed guidelines
concerning each submission opportunity, please see our Submittable page:

During these times of COVID-19, we hope all those in the literary
community and beyond are staying safe and healthy. We encourage you to
stay home if you're able, and together, we'll make it through to the
other side stronger than ever!

Thank you,
Christine Gendy
Managing Editor
