CRWROPPS Post: Rappahannock Review
Dear writers,
The Rappahannock Review, an online literary journal published through the University of Mary Washington, is now accepting submissions in poetry, fiction, and nonfiction from established and emerging writers.
We are currently seeking submissions for our upcoming Summer Issue 2021 with the theme of TRANSFORMATION:
Transformation of body, of mind, of culture, of life. Of self and identity. Of perception or perspective. Give us your stories of change, your poems of metamorphosis. Of coming into being. Of transition and coming out. Of coming into awareness. Of the intrinsic, internal self, whether it be through experience, external change, trauma, healing, empathy. Transformation can bring renewal, revolution, liberation, transcendence, or it can bring disorder, a radical break, a shaking to the core. Show us an image, a moment of flux, the evolution of a universe within a self.
We invite you to submit your original fiction, nonfiction, or poetry that considers any manifestation of the theme. Submit one longer prose piece (up to 8,000 words), up to three flash prose pieces (up to 1,000 words each), or up to five poems.

We are also currently reading for our next general issue, which does not specify a theme. We will be open for all submissions until March 15, 2021.
We look forward to reading your work!
Sincerely,
The Editors
