2021 Gulf Coast Prizes DEADLINE EXTENDED: Friday, April 23
We have extended our contest deadline one additional week. The new deadline is April 23. Until then, we are accepting submissions for the Gulf Coast Prizes in Fiction, judged by Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah; Poetry, judged by Natalie Diaz; and Nonfiction, judged by Kiese Laymon. The contest awards $1,500 and publication in Gulf Coast to the winner in each genre. Two honorable mentions in each genre are awarded $250. All entries are considered for publication and the entry fee includes a one-year subscription to Gulf Coast. Find submission guidelines on gulfcoastmag.org.
