Call for Submissions of Jewish Short Fiction
The CCAR Journal: The Reform Jewish Quarterly – a journal of Jewish scholarship, learning, and poetry with international distribution – invites submissions for a symposium of Jewish short fiction on the topic "Contemporary Jewish Life." This symposium will share the fiction of serious, creative writers whose work reflects engagement with contemporary Jewish experience, tradition, values, culture, and community. Submissions, which should be new/unpublished and between 2,000 and 4,500 words, will be accepted through November 1, 2021; an author biography noting previous publications should accompany each submission. Please send submissions and author biographies as Word or PDF attachments to CCAR Journal Editor-in-Chief Rabbi Elaine Rose Glickman at journaleditor@ccarnet.org.
