General Novel and Memoir submissions

We look for works driven by voice and built on a strong compositional foundation. We are not necessarily looking for work that fits strict traditional modes, and especially enjoy familiar subjects presented through unfamiliar perspectives, or those which defy easy categorization or definition. While we enjoy speculative elements in literary fiction, we kindly ask writers to refrain from submitting conventional science fiction or fantasy. Our preferred length is between 50,000 and 100,000 words.

2022 Novella Contest

Closes March 31, 2022, $25.00 USD submission fee

We seek compelling novellas between 25,000 and 4o,000 words for our first novella contest. Our ideal entries will utilize the succinct form to explore complex themes with fresh perspective. As with our general submissions, we seek work driven by voice and built on a strong compositional foundation. We are not necessarily looking for work that fits strict traditional modes. While we enjoy speculative elements in fiction, we kindly ask writers to refrain from submitting conventional science fiction or fantasy.
