CRWROPPS Post:: Loraine Williams Poetry Prize Now Open for Submissions!

We are excited here at The Georgia Review for this year's contest and hope you might share this poetry prize information with your communities. Thank you.  The Georgia Review's Loraine Williams Poetry Prize  is now open for submissions until May 15th (submissions accepted either through Submittable or by regular mail postmarked within the same timeframe). The winner will receive $1,500 and publication. Additionally, three featured finalists will earn $200 and publication in The Georgia Review.  All entries will be considered for publication.  Only one entry per writer. Submissions cost $30, which includes a one-year subscription to The Georgia Review. (Current subscribers will receive a one-year extension.) No simultaneously submitted work. An entry may include one, two, or three poems, but no more than a total of ten standard pages in 12-point or larger type. Work previously published in any form will not be considered....

We are accepting submissions for poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. CRWROPPS Post: Linda J. Albertano Poetry Fellowship

Beyond Baroque is proud to announce that applications are now open for the Linda J. Albertano Poetry Fellowship , a new opportunity for emerging women and non-binary poets based in greater Los Angeles. Named in honor of the late Linda J. Albertano , a poet and legendary performance artist who worked closely with Beyond Baroque throughout her career until her passing in 2022, this new fellowship honors Albertano's groundbreaking legacy by providing support to new generations of poets.  Through this fellowship, Beyond Baroque seeks to nurture Southern California-based emerging women and non-binary poets who are interested in developing their artistic practice. Offered annually, the fellowship provides $1,000 in Beyond Baroque workshop credits, the opportunity to curate one event with a programs budget, and a paid opportunity to facilitate our historic Wednesday Night Poetry Workshop!   Applications for the Linda J.
