CRWROPPS Post: Editor's Prize



The Editor's Prize at Harbor Review will close at midnight on January 31st. 

The prize is awarded once a year for a micro chapbook.

Micro chapbooks should be exactly 10 poems long. Manuscripts should include a title page, table of contents, and use 12 point font. Individual poems from the manuscript may have been published previously in magazines but not books or chapbooks. The collection as a whole must be unpublished.

The submission fee is $10 to cover submission management. Your submission fee must be paid via paypal prior to submission.

All entries must be submitted by email to harborreviewmagazine@gmail.com.

The winner will receive $200 and publication of their micro chapbook online at Harbor Review. All entrants will be notified about the status of their submission after the submission period.

The Creative Writing Program in the Department of English invites applications for the Edelstein-Keller Writer in Residence Fellowship! This fellowship is a nine-month academic year position 2023-2025, starting August 28, 2023. Deadline for applications is Monday, April 3, 2023. The fellow will be in residence on the Minneapolis campus for four semesters over two years, teaching two creative writing courses (graduate and undergraduate) each academic year. The fellow will participate in creative writing events and committees, including admissions and graduate thesis committees, and will give a public reading of their work. Subject:  [Open for Applications] 2024 Mountain Words Writer-in-Residence   I am excited to announce that the Mountain Words Writer-in-Residence program , is open for applications, with residency dates running May 1 - June 1, 2024 . It's pretty incredible: one-month holiday accommodation in Crested Butte, Colorado , and a $1,000 stipend.
