CRWROPPS Post: Emerging Writer's Contest

The Ploughshares Emerging Writer's Contest deadline has been extended one more week! Writers who have yet to publish a book of their own writing may submit fiction, poetry, or nonfiction for consideration by Sunday, May 22 at noon (Eastern). One winner in each genre will receive $2,000, publication in Ploughshares, and a conversation with a literary agent at Aevitas Creative Management.

Subject:  [Open for Applications] 2024 Mountain Words Writer-in-Residence   I am excited to announce that the Mountain Words Writer-in-Residence program , is open for applications, with residency dates running May 1 - June 1, 2024 . It's pretty incredible: one-month holiday accommodation in Crested Butte, Colorado , and a $1,000 stipend.
