NUMERICA PRESS AUDIO POETRY PERFORMANCE CONTEST RULES:
Numerica Press is open for poetry submissions until May 2, 2023 for its first audio poetry reading contest. The winner will have a thirty minute solo poetry reading produced by award-winning performance artist, DRRTY BĒ.
Every poet who sends work, regardless of whether their poetry is selected for the virtual performance, will also have the (optional) opportunity to receive a complimentary tarot card reading from our press's resident divination expert just for submitting!
Our debut contest is open to all poets who enjoy giving public readings, and does not have to be limited to spoken-word artists. This is a great opportunity for poets with first books, new books, or poets who cannot travel very far for readings to showcase their work, particularly teaching artists who aren't able to do much during the school year.
Submission details are to submit THREE of your best poems (published or unpublished) in an attachment (.pdf, .doc, .docx) that would normally be read in front of a live audience. In the body of your email, include a fifty word bio and your preferred social media platform to numericapress@gmail.com.
